William Lassell Suydam, Jr. 93 of Toms River, NJ, passed away on May 13, 2022 at Artis Senior Living in Brick, NJ. William was born in Jamaica Queens NY to William Sr., and Lucile (Doughty) Suydam. William served in the United States Coast Guard during World War II from 1941 to 1945, he then joined the navy and also served from 1946 until his honorable discharge in 1948. He earned his Bachelor’s degree and was employed as a Professional Engineer at Givaudan Corp., in Clifton NJ. He was predeceased by his wife Joan and is survived by his son Tyler and his wife Emily and his daughter Karen and her husband Tim. Cremation will be private
