Salvatore "Sal Cap" Capriglione

Salvatore “Sal Cap” A. Capriglione, 82 years old of Brick passed away at home. Born in Newark, NJ at Stephen Crane Village to the late Carmine and Vitella Capriglione on February 9, 1939. Sal was the owner and operator of a residential and commercial cleaning company. He served a short term in the United State Air Force. His hobbies were cooking and entertaining. He had a sophisticated palette with the expertise of a chef. Sal was a recording artist with RCA Victor Records with the Tradewinds. He was a member of the sacred heart choir in Bayhead, NJ. His life was a well traveled journey. Sal is survived by his wife Marion Roder Capriglione of 37 years on September 15th; son Carmine and wife Kara; brother Gordon, and his beloved granddaughters Mia and Gianna Capriglione. Also is a parent and grandparent to Patrick Lynch, Patrick Lynch Jr., and Joseph Lynch, Dori and Jason Wiggett. He has many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members whom he loves. He will be celebrated, honored and remembered but never forgotten. Visiting will be Monday, August 23 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm at the Silverton Memorial Funeral Home, 2482 Church Rd., Toms River. A mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Bay Head. Entombment will follow at Ocean County Memorial Park. In Lieu of Flowers donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959
