It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of our beloved Marie Ann DeMarco of Lakewood NJ, born in Elizabeth, who went home to be with her Lord & Savior Jesus Christ on December 21, 2020 at the age of 79. She was loved and cherished by all who knew her including her parents Theresa (Lee) and Fred DeMarco; her brother Vincent DeMarco along with his wife Betty; her nieces and nephew Vince & Lynn DeMarco, Lisa & Rick Vargo, Lynn & Tony Vendetti; along with her great nephews Vinnie, Justin, Anthony, Michael, Nick & Jereme; & her entire extended family The Hickey’s. Marie worked as an executive secretary for Merck & Co. She was a talented artist but will be remembered most as a loving and compassionate woman who humbly cared for all those around her. Marie will be deeply missed by all who knew her. We ask family and friends to leave their condolences, memories and photos on this memorial page to share with her family. A mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, December 28, 2020 at 10:00 AM at St. Dominic’s RC Church in Brick. Burial will follow to Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Newark.
